Punda Mlia

"Punda mlia," which means "zebra" in Swahili

Carved and painted on black leather, it reveals its unique character as the light changes. Depending on the lighting and viewing angle, the carved relief sometimes takes center stage, while at other times, the paint stands out.

A living work of art, whose appearance transforms and reveals itself differently with every passing moment.
