Originally conceived as a two-part composition.
A magnificent leopard climbs down from a tree and startles a long-tailed roller.
During my various exhibitions, I listened to comments from visitors who preferred the leopard in a horizontal orientation.
It became a running joke, and the piece was named “Upside Down.”

A sincere thank you to Yaron Schmid for graciously allowing me to use his magnificent photograph of a leopard as inspiration for my painting. His photograph served as the muse for this new composition.
